I recently ordered a few zoas from Legendary Corals. These are the first corals ive ever owned and are also my first online livestock purchase. I thought id add a little feedback for those of you deciding whether legendary corals is right for you.

"Blue Implosions" and Rasta Polyp that my hermit crabs knocked lose and its been closed for a few hours now :(

Rasta again, Fire and Ice, and Blowpop.

All in all i would say i am happy with my purchase. All the polyps opened within an hour of being in their new homes, and while the colors arent quite what they were on the website, im sure thats more due to my compact flourescent actinctic lights rather than false advertising.

The only real bummer was my "Blue implosion" frag having no blue at all, and looking pretty bland and bleached out but hey, it was $5 and is still pretty cool and the biggest polyp size.

Anyhow, thanks LC for the great service and product.

The compact florescent lights will make colors definitely less impressive then other lightning imho. Add a blue led strip and it'll make huge difference. Nice start congratulations on first coral purchase they are great guys to deal with as are many sponsors here.

Thanks for the review! The blue implosion definitely looks a bit better under more blue lighting. It's a more light blue color than a solid blue. Give it lots of space as it's a good grower.

Appreciate the start to finish review too!

What type of blue led strip would you suggest? Im currently using 2 of these 65w 10k white lights http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000256E1M?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o07_s00
and 2 of these 65w Actinctics in a 55 gallon long. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000256E1W?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o09_s00
So i think im ok on actually lighting for growth, i just want something cheap to make these guys color pop. Thanks for the help.

Also something i forgot to mention in my review, i bought all corals at 1 polyp, and most came with WAY more than that. Thanks again LC ill hit you up w another order in a couple months or so.
