Quick question, I just received 3 new coral frags and with them came a few aiptasia.
I heard that lemon juice kills aiptasia but I was wondering before I use it does lemon juice harm corals?

While I have not used lemon juice, AiptasiaX worked well for me. However, I used AiptasiaX on live rock, not directly on coral frag. I would be hesitant to use it directly on a coral.

Personally I have not had good luck with lemon juice. For me it just annoyed the Aiptasia and it multiplied rapidly. There are a wide range of suggested solutions including fish, inverts, chemicals, and more.

I've had semi - decent luck with kalk paste, but I would hesitate to put that directly on a frag either.

Can you remove the frags and put them on new plugs?

I can but the aiptasia are inbetween and attached to the zoa´s

Ive had success with lemon juice via syringe. Better yet is kalkwasser mixed into a thin paste and injected into center core of each one

And did you also use it near corals? If so, did the corals by any chance become severely upset? Mine pretend to be dead. That’s how upset they are. I do still see life in them, but they’re not happy.

Yes, they close up temporarily. You want to aim for the mouth of aptasia and avoid spreading. Also reason I mention- Preferably kalk paste

Okay, thank you. Mine have closed up like a madman. I tried to aim as much for the mouth of the aptasia, but some spread, since there were a lot. Thanks for your quick replies! I greatly appreciate it.

I have had mixed results with lemon juice. I’m glad to here that it has worked for some!
