Lemon Juice?

How many of you can say you have successfully removed aiptasia with lemon juice? Just found my first one in my tank, I currently have a pistol shrimp & im not sure he would enjoy having a peppermint around..Im open to trying lemon juice, the aiptasia is literally right night to my firework cloves though.. Thank you for any input!

I have done it and it works like a charm. Stick it in its mouth and squirt the lemon juice with a syringe. It'll die right in front of your eyeballs. I do recommend to start right away. I waited too long and now I have a bloom in that crap. I hope my copperband will eat them.

Does aptasiax work aswell?

Will the lemon juice affect anything else or will the carbon just take care of any excess sitting in the water

It will have some effects, such as pH lowering and driving some bacterial growth.

I use white distilled vinegar, .4ml in a syringe. Works great!

It could have a hit on your PH and alk, but not much (barely noticable). As far as I even know, it can even be neutralized if your system is well established and therefore have no impact. So don't worry about that.
