Hello I am thinking of getting a lemonpeel in my big tank with an established fireball would it work.

That’s pretty close to the minimum size people have success at mixing Dwarf Angels. For me, it’s a toss up, they may get along, but may not. It just depends on the individual fish. Have you ever seen the Fireball act aggressive towards anything else?

Can you show a full tank picture? With the dwarf angels it is more about hiding spots once you get to your tank size.

I keep several dwarf angels together without any issues but definitely paid attention to having lots of rock structures for hiding spots and made sure to feed immediately before adding the new friend.

What is a fireball? Serious question is it a flame angel or flameback angel? Too many names in the hobby nowadays. If another dwarf angel you probably want to do 3 of the same type. 100g is not all that big and may have issues since they would not be established together.

this was my thoughts too. all the sudden fireball is around...I figured it was either of these fish. a quick google search i guess its the flame back?? IDK
flame back its such a better name so i'll never call it "fire ball"
better yet to use the scientific name. but common names are so much easier..

anyway I am attempting to mix 4-5 dwarfs in my 200/275 FOWLR was hoping to add 4 at the same time but 2 was lost in QT.

lemon peels are beautiful fish curious to see how this works out for you. keep us posted.

I have a key hole, flame, flame back, coral beauty, flag fin (same size as the dwarfs right now) and a swallowtail (now a little larger). They were all put in at different times. No aggression. This is a 210 gallon with 60 gallon sump. I think you’ll be fine in your system even if they don’t go in at the same time.
