I was seeing .5 ppm of ammonia and 0 for nitrite after breaking down a tank and didn't get it back up for about 4 days. I dumped a bottle of Dr Tim's on Fri before leaving out of town and when I retested last night after returning it was showing 0 for ammonia and .25 pp for nitrite. I'll keep testing but how much longer should I anticipate this taking? I have a few fish in QT that I really need to get back in cause the QT was never meant for that many fish at once.

If your ammonia is consistently at 0ppm you can move some fish back in. You may want to move a few at a time to reduce load on the QT without overloading the DT.

How long this mini cycle will last is hard to say. No way to know how much of what died while the system was shut down or how quickly it will decay.

I had all live rocks in water while in transport (1.5hrs) and then with a powerhead immediately when I got home. The sand I rinsed in rodi water a few times. The rocks were also out in air for about 20-30 mins while I aquascaped. It was probably 50/50 used and new SW. The water was crystal clear by the next day.

Tested again last night. Ammonia again tested 0 and nitrite was also 0 so I was set. I moved all 6 fish over and they were fine this morning and will continue monitoring with the web cam.
