Lenses on the vipar spectra 165

I have 2 of the vipar spectra 165w lights that I’ve been using for a while now and when I got them I saw people on YouTube videos in the comments talking about taking the lenses off. Has anybody here done this?

Yes, it’s fairly easy to do so and it does blend better
