Has anyone kept a leopard puffer in a reef with lps and sps corals? Only interested in a leopard as they are deep water so should be safer with corals (and I have one in qt and deciding where to put it). I know puffers explore the world with their mouths so can expect some things to be sampled initially, that's fine, but what are the chances of harmony long term. I'm also aware of the limitation of them and cuc but I have a large marine betta that stops shrimps anyway. The betta tank would be my prefered tank as it's quiet and dark in the bottom half due to all the coral growth above, so would be the best fit but once it's in it won't be possible to get it out as I can barely get the algae magnet down past the coral.

They are the safest puffer with corals. I would still be watchful, but if a puffer won't pick, this is the species.

Thanks, I know it's a try it and see situation but I've had good results with valantini in the past and know they are far riskier. I guess I'm looking at a similar success to a dwarf angel with this and I'd probably take the risk on that.
