has anyone used a leopard wrasse to take care of redbugs? I hear they will eat them and I am thinking of trying this.

heres some pics. I think I will dip the ones I can take out.

I would definitly dip what you can take out. Even if the leopard doesn't go after the red bugs, if your tank can handle the fish, I say try one. They're great utility fish in general and one of my personal favorites (even though I don't have one). You could always try a 6 or 4 line also.

Man Interceptor is your friend it not as bad as it seems. In fact if I had to chose which pest to get it would be red bugs. Just catch as many crabs as you can and treat the tank.

By the way your welcome for pointing them out to you on your other thread.

thanks, but I did know they were there. I was trying to see what keen eyes were out there. I will try interceptor I guess I'm just scared to do the whole tank, there are some shrimp and crabs (acro) I cant get out.

IMO, these things are way, way too small for a wrasse to control effectively. Sure, a leopard wrasse or pipefish or some natural predator may eat a few, but really - spend the time to dig out the acro crabs and do the interceptor. That's the only way of really getting rid of them.
