OH DUDE SO COOL! how long did that take? first time for you or have you had this happen with other fish/wrasses

I have had him 2yrs and it took 1.5 yrs. I have never had it happen before. It happen when I added a female leopard it took about 2 days to change completely. But then he killed the female.

I think that just made me change my mind at adding another female wrasse like I wanted to  What if I were to add a couple of them at one time with the existing one?

how much do these bad boys run? do they always turn from female to male or do some always stay female?

Well just hope he like 1 of the females I guess I had 2 females and he killed 1 and the other 1 jump out of the tank.

Pretty cool!! I have aleopard also.. I was thinking about a 2nd to get a pair... But i feared this could happen and now more! Lol btw did you notice the male aggressively attacking the female??or did he just harass her??
Jcr's idea may work
If the tank is big enough but then again if it doesn't thats double the loss:sad:!!!

I agree if the tank is bigger more place to hide until the male gets over himself. Or if I was to try again I will trap my male and leave him in there a couple of days.

Sorry for the bad pic. I thought my Potters Wrasse was going to kill the Leopard Wrasse. He harassed her for 2 days 24/7 then chilled out. Now they get along pretty good. But I'm now wondering if I were to introduce more potters and leopards if the 2 existing ones will nail them the opposite or just go spastic. I've been wanting a school of males and females. Guess I could section part of the tank off and find out. Here they are coexisting together now
