Very killer looking fish either way! I think there could be a couple of different factors. One I think lighting from one tank to another can make a fish's appearance change. Secondly, what do you feed? Different foods help bring out the vibrant colors. A good variety of foods can help enrich ones fish's colors. Flake, Frozen, etc.... Hope to help. I am by no means positive on this causing the fish to change colors so I hope others chime in as well.

This definitely looks like your Wrasse changed from Female to Male. I did not know they do that. I might try getting another female in hopes that it changes over to male, because I've been looking for a Male for some time now

Interesting! Yeah - we've had her for about a year in the same tank with the same lighting... so I'll have to keep an eye on what happens. If she changes completely, I'll post another photo of how she/he ends up looking. 
If she changed over for us, then it should work for you Viva'sReef. I read somewhere that they are all born female and they change as the need arises.
