I picked up a female leopard wrasse yesterday and she has just buried her self in the sand for the second time. the first time i got a little worried because i had a friend have a fish burry itself in the sand never to surface again. so i dug her up and she has been out all day and is already accepting frozen mysis. she just buried herself again about 10 minutes ago, is this something to be concerned with?

That's normal they do that when they go to bed. Especially if you have your timer on a different then where you can picked it up

So this can be expected to happen every night? I just don't want to have it die in the sand bed and cause problems for the rest of the tank

The Macropharyngodon genus sleeps in the sand or bury in the sand when they feel threatened.

DO NOT DIG IT UP!!

This only stresses the fish.

I won't touch her now, there's only 2 other fish in the tank so I can't believe she's threatened. But the timer started the sunset decline so maybe that's why

It is time for her to go to bed!! She is probably still on "Her" time zone. That is normal behavior.
