I have a leopard in QT for 2 weeks now that wont eat. It paces the front glass non-stop and has yet to eat. It did grab a piece of food twice, but spit it out.

Tried mysis, LRS reef frenzy and fish frenzy (has black worms and fish eggs)..

It looks completely healthy and acts healthy aside from the pacing. Dives in the sand regularly...

QT has been through 2 rounds of general cure and 3 feedings of metro...

Any ideas? I have a place in my sump with tons of pods... but dont want to add if not healthy..

Thanks for the advice!

Try live food. You have pods put a few in her tank. Some LFS have black worms

If you can find them get some live black worms , 100% it will work. You can try white worms too

Live brine will usually get them going. once they eat that they will switch to mysis. I have found my leopards always prefer PE or cobalt mysis over hikari.

Adding a sacrificial piece of live rock from the DT to QT may help. I second live black worms. The movement as they go into the tank should invoke a feeding response. Ive had 5 different leopards and 3 tamarins over the years and none could resist them. I would try and feed the QT 5-10 times a day in small increments to get these guys to eat bc once they do they are very hardy. Every once in a while you'll run across one that is seemingly healthy just not eat and die. Don't give up. Also trying smaller size mysis like hikari brand, cyclops, calanus or fish eggs can help. I know LRS is a quality of food but sometimes they don't take to this right away like the others I mentioned.

Live blackworms almost always work for them. I have 7 different species of the macropharyngodon genus in my tank and over half of them required live worms in QT. Once they start eating worms they are easy to transition to frozen typically.
