Hi all, I have some fish that went through copper, worming, fluking etc and are in observation now. When in qt i didnt see any spots and i kept them in there almost 2 weeks before starting meds. Still no sign of any spots or any parasites now. Theyve never flashed. I have 2 leopard wrasse in the obs tank. Being a shift worker im finding it hard to keep the food going in for the wrasse. In dt i have so many pods and amphipods. Theyve been in obs 7 days now. Still no flashing or visible parasite. Can i transfer them now to help the wrasse get the food they need?

You are making a gamble and breaking your own protocol. QT must be fully complete. You will kick yourself if any disease gets to your DT.

Hi @Tuan’s Reef Qt is done. Theyve had all the copper, and prazipro and metro in water and foods. Theyre in a clean sterile new observation tank now. I got these from a good source and had no visible parasites to begin with.

@mattb2989 I have a leopard wrasse coming in today- just wondering if you put sand in the QT for him to borrow or if you left the tank bare bottom?
