I just bought a leopard wrasse and he only comes out in the morning. When I get off work he's gone. I feed when I get off and he don't come out. I hope he's getting food.

He'll adjust to your lighting schedule over time, but my leopards still burrow fairly early. An auto feeder would be a good investment once you verify that he will eat pellets or flakes. That way you can make sure they get fed throughout the day. They will also pick at the rocks and eat pods.

I feed mine frozen in the morning and then I have two auto feeders (one pellet & one flake) that each feed once throughout the day. I usually don't get home until around 6:30-7 and it is rare that I catch one still out. My lighting is a little off right now to the early side because of time change.

How long have you had the wrasse? The above poster gave some great advice.
