No, you don't need more than one leopard wrasse they do just fine being kept singly.

They can be jumpers so you do need a lid and some sand for them to sleep in.

They can be jumpers so you do need a lid and some sand for them to sleep in.When I bought it home yesterday he went in the sand and did not come out yet today should I be worried

Will it eat this or does it have to be pods
 
Right now your wrasse is MIA during feedings: If you have live pods in your system there will be food for it to snack on when your not around. Plus it's good to give your fishes good gut bacteria which comes from live food.
 
@Paul B just did a video that explains about live food gut bacteria. Frozen food is good to feed…I feed it everyday…but they also get live food every day
 
That's an interesting square block anthias on the package. My Vivien picks at the rocks all day. A member here sells pods and phyto. I used those to supercharge my reef.
