I got a new Leopard Wrasse about three days ago from a reefer getting out of the hobby. Hes had the fellow for over a year, so I got him eating pretty quick! I also have a pair of bonded clowns in the tank who host a huge GSP. They are normally very territorial. They will regularly chase anyone who stays to close for to long (me included, I've been bit several times while clipping it back lol) away.

So tonight I was trying to see where my Leopard Wrasse hides away in the tank at night. And wouldn't you know it, the clowns have accepted him. He just chills there with them and buried in the same just under the rock. The clowns would chase the other fish (2 dwarf angles, a blenny and a goby) away from the Wrasse and their home.

I thought the behavior was quite amusing and wanted to share. Sorry for the not great pics.

That’s adorable, and interesting. In my tank, my Leopard Wrasse is the only fish (except for a neon goby which no fish bother) allowed near their anemone!

I just added a starry blenny to my tank, the clowns chase away other fish that come too close (no fin nipping though) but they let the starry blenny chill right next to their frogspawn.
