Leopard wrasses with Orange back wrasse?

Just added my two leopard wrasses (1 male one female) from my QT to my DT. I’m curious if my orange back (full size) will be bothersome to them. They are currently inside an acclimation box with a couple Tupperware’s of sand. Today was day number 3. I haven’t noticed any aggression but the acclimation box is in the top front corner of my tank. So I’m not sure how much they cross paths. The Orange back chases my one flasher wrasse all the time to the point he just hangs in the upper back corner of my tank (still eats and is healthy). I also have a yellow corise wrasse who nobody bothers. Just to cover all grounds, I have a 120 gallon tank 2x2x4, 36 gallon sump. My live stock list is:

kole tang
Chocolate tang
Orange back wrasse
yellow Corise wrasse
2 bellus angels
Regal Angel
Yellowfin Flasher wrasse
Percula clown pair
Golden Midas blenny

Any information is appreciated. I know when I introduced my chocolate tang to my tank with the kole tang I used the mirror trick and it worked. They are buddies now.

I cannot say for sure about the leopard wrasse but my orange back is not aggressive towards my other wrasses at all. I have 6 all together and he pays no attention to any of them. Just my experience.

Appreciate the reply. Yeah unfortunately my orange back like to bully my flasher. No one else and again I don’t see any aggression towards the acclimation box. I’m assuming there would be aggression there too.

You should not have any issue. C. aurantidorsalis will probably not even register that the leopards are a threat. It might be aggressive toward new fairy/flasher wrasses but not leopards.

Awesome. I’m still not seeing any aggression while in the acclimation box. I plan on introducing them tomorrow. Fingers crossed!

I have not had any issues with my orange back and various leopard wrasses species.

The mix will be fine, but I'll point out your leopards are two different species - M. meleagris and M. ornatus (not to say that is problem either; just an FYI in case you thought they were the same).

I thought they were male and female based on live aquaria’s picture. I didn’t buy them from them but I looked up the picture. They seem to get along very well.
