High, I’ve got a bunch of corals in my tank mostly lps (maybe 60 frags and colonies over all). I had three leptatrea glued to the back wall. Two, a blue one from cherry corals and a John Deere from aqu SD have done well there. My favorite, burning leptastrea from WWC was there for about a month (since I got it) and it stopped opening, flat except some expanded polpys on the back. It’s a small frag. I moved it Saturday to a higher light higher flow area, thinking it was dim light low flow, and noticed one corner looked worse yesterday. Today when I got home from work several entire polyps are gone! I don’t know if it if doesn’t like the move, or if it’s just going...

Should I drop it to the sand bed under a ledge, go super low flow and shade? Should I superglue over the dead skeleton to try to stop the receding? Any other ideas? Pics are yesterday and tonight.

I also have a single blasto I think was flow damaged (my fault). I moved it to very low flow last week, but it seems to just be very slowly receding. It’s just one head... any thoughts for it?

Can see healthier polyps on back if I can save them.

Not sure its hi intensity light damage

High NO4? Maybe high Alk? What's your parameters?

I’m not 100% sure. Need to break out the test kit when I get a minute. I know Alk was 11.5, calc 500, salinity 1.026, temp 76, yesterday. I only have ATI for phosphate btw.

High PO4 does that to lepestrea? Wouldn’t all my coral be suffering?

Could be light. Should I drop it to the sand bed for now? Glue over the dead tissue or leave it?

Did you find out the reason in the end?
