Feather duster, perhaps. Does it retract when disturbed?

I have those grow on some corals as they encrust sometimes, also snails that put out the webs the name escapes me atm. Coral will generally continue growing over those.

Thanks for the replys figure it's nothing that is threatening, most likely a feather duster since the tank it came from had many.
