I have look all over the web and I have not found a thread that really give great advice I Leptastrea coral placement.
My situation is
  • 72 bowfront
  • Plenty of rock but running out of room
  • Hydra 26 HD lights
  • Had one before but with my old lights and tank parameter not settled yet, I killed it:)
I have read the low to medium light, placement low to medium light, but nothing about flow and the hold combination what would make them grown the best. I do have room in back

Around center front/mid and mid flow. but that doesn't help unless you can compare par as well. do you have a par meter?

Nope, on the par meter
what about these two areas?
This is center near the the bottom on a slope forward the is a MP 40 that run at %35 during the day and 10% at night

Or here on the back side near the center by the glass

Can they be mounted and the same rock and grow together?

Cool thank you.

Indirect light on a sloping side is where I've had success. They will tolerate high light and flow but must be acclimated to such conditions. They will also take mysis shrimp and coral foods but get most of what they need from light. Hope that helps. but I'm just saying.... I've had a few lol

Why does this sound familiar? Huh? [emoji12]
