Anyone got one? Apparently I picked one up for $20. Can't find much info on these except that they are low-moderate light

Pretty bullet proof coral. What pigment/pattern did you pick up?

Green and brown. Here is a picture of it in the bag

I don't usually keep sps but for $20 kinda hard to beat

Nice. Should I keep it high or low? I have it midway in my tank

It flipped over and I didn't notice it for a while... But it's still alive! It's ruffling out I may move it to my sps tank to grow it out faster. My 55 is dominated by soft coral and lps and sps just doesn't do as well for whatever reason. I also don't dose it much...

They grow pretty fast. I have yellow orange one called gold something or another. And the must have lepto now is JF jack o lantern. It was a booger when i bought it. In a few short weeks it totally covered the cut areas and grew onto the plug. Mine are under low light and flow. But more light than a chalice. The colors look better when i moved them.

I'll have to see. Mine is more of a neon green. I don't see too many of them in my area

What condition ie light and flow do you have the gold one in? I have had mine for almost a year and very little growth has occurred.

My gold is in med light. It still grew fast under low light. Just has better coloring under medium. It outgrew its frag plug. I placed it on a frag donut. Within a week it grew onto the donut.

I feed mine twice a week with a group tank feeding. No spot feeding. It sends out hair like sweepers whenever it senses food and opens its tiny pin hole mouths. Some places refer them as LPS but i think they are SPS

Really... What are you feedings? The only corals I feed are large lps like my donuts and scolys just because I'm afraid of putting stuff like phyto in the water and making an algae bloom

I use a mixture of stuff. Probably 12 different things. From mysis to powder for sps. With liquid types enhanced with ameno acids. My skimmer really kicks after it turns back on. I also remove my filter sock for a day after feed. This gives the sps more time to eat at night. I dont get blooms. Water changes and gfo keep phosphates down.

I do use amino acids... Someone recommended I use brightwell microvore I may give that a shot
