Well the time has come to get rid of the gfo and experiment with lc.

Having read multitudes of threads I’ve decided to give it a shot.


The product I’m using is agent green and I’m dosing to start 2ml , 1ml at 6.30am and 1ml at 6.30pm
It’ll go deep into the skimmer body via a doser, tightly packed filter wool will catch any crystals that make it out the skimmer , if it gets through the caluerpa forest and into the return I’ll be surprised but I live in hope

My po4 start point is .08 so I have room for manoeuvring up or down a little

I’ll update test results this time tomorrow

0.08 isn't that much room depending on the size of the tank/system of course. How many gallons will these ml's be stripping phosphate out of?

So it’s 400 ltr and phosphate rises 0.5 per day, heavy fish load and coral feed

Update on po4 is 0.07 after 24hrs

Nitrate was 0.5 from 5.7 with just 3ml of vodka , gonna put it up to 2-3 with liquid no3 so I don’t bottom out if the vodkas not finished
