My favorite corals are the softies which move and flow beautifully, I own a couple and absolutely love them. I grow frogspawn, gsp, Xenia, Duncan’s, tube coral, then on the other side of the hobby I have the hardiest of all hardy coral zoas. I have a zoa garden growing around a trumpet colony. Absolutely love the softies but I have never been able to fall in love with lps corals. Blastos and other type acans are okay, but I have never fell in love with the look of lps corals. I love the look of birds nest but don’t think I have the will of putting it in my tank because my fear of screwing up how my tank looks. I really wanna try them out but have never really grew any or had any, nor do I know where they would look good in my tank

hi any pics?? :)

Birdsnest is not an lps. It is an sps.
Hammers, torches , frogspawn are lps along with chalice corals favia ect.
Birdsnest is a small polyp stony aka sps

Los are lower in cost and don’t require the stringent needs if alk-ca- mag as SPS does making them more forgiving with changes within the environment
