Is there any non-gender personal pronoun in English? We did not have it in Swedish when I grow up - but we have it today. It is very useful when you don not know the gender you talking to (at internet as an example), when they do not know their gender by them self, when you do not want to tell the gender of a person and so on. I know the word "guy" that has no gender in American English but not any gender neutral word for he or she. In Swedish we use a mixing of "han" (he) and "hon" (she) - it will of cause be "hen" Not so useful in this context for English talking persons

but very useful in Swedish
I do not know how they do in Swiss German, Italian, French or Romansh (the four official language in Switzerland) because I´m a swede
Sincerely Lasse
