Let sand dry after rinsing?

So I can’t find and answer on this so I’m gonna assume just drain it as much as possible. I’m rinsing the caribsea special grade dry sand and not sure if I should let it dry out or not. I know that would take forever and can’t imagine that the little bit of tap water left in the sand is gonna hurt my tank. Thoughts?

You don't need to let it dry out. I always play it safe and add tap water conditioner if I ever rinse anything with tap water

Do a last rinse in rodi water or tank change water.
