LET T5 dimmable with kessil x controller

Does anyone know if the kessil spectral x controller can dim the T5 lights on the dimmable ballast? I know the ballast has a 0-10v +- port and the controller has a 0-10v 3.5mm jack on it. I currently have two nicrew 150w led that plug into the 3.5mm for ramp up and down. I want to be able to plug the T5 into the extra port on the nicrew lights so I can control dimming on both the nicrews and the T5s. Thanks

Theory is pretty sound but really depends on the ballast and 0-10v circuit design.

A company not recommending anything but " their stuff" is not unusual or always true.

Besides many ballasts don't like to dim well below 10%

Hmmm, seems there are some complications historically.

Can The A-series Kessil Controller Control Other 0-10V Lights?

I am working on building an LED-T5 hybrid light fixture and have 2 Kessil a360we lights and an A-series controller and bought a LET Lighting dimmable t5 HO retrofit kit from BRS, it is dimmable via a 0-10v input. Can the A series controller be 'hacked' to dim the T5 kit? Thinking along the lines...

If you already have a kessil controller and would like to also control a T5 light setup like the ATI DX18 then this thread is for you. The primary issue with the A-series controller is that it supplies 0-10v to a lighting source but its unable to sink 0-10v from that soure. What I mean by that...

Hmm .. forgot the part where you actually want to use the Nicrews port. Kind of changes the whole thing and my posts above are useless really...

@Tom Bishop has some problems controling his Nicrew 50W lamp with ReefPi as descriobed in the main ReefPi thread here and here. He built a 10V PWM source using the Adafruit Guide, which works as intended. This is connected to the lamps 0-10VDC control input with an audio jack as described here...
