Have my gyre going and these spots are getting hit. Last time I had it I dosed peroxideLooks like cyanobacteria, monitor nitrates and phosphates. Also increase water movement in this area if possible.
Havnt added anything real new just moved from another tank. It a bad idea to blow it off the rocks to get it into the water column for the skimmer to get?Cyano. Just nuke it with red slime remover. If your tank is relatively new and still stocking a lot, do manual removable to keep them at bay. Once you slowed down in new additions, nuke it once with red slime remover and you will be done with it. That treatment shouldn't be used often though, and new addition always have chance to reintroduce. That's why the wait.
