I have 2 juv angels which are normally active and eating but have recently started to hide under the overhangs.
One is a Koran which is starting to change colors and the other is a Queen about the same size. They normally eat like pigs. I also have a blonde Naso which is not as active.
A week ago I lost 2 anthias in one week after not losing any fish since the tank started in January. Out of precaution I dosed Prazipro in the DT.
All of my fish in the DT went through quarantine with either copper or hypo. There are no signs of parasites visible and the other fish are not over aggressive besides the random fin nipping.
I have other anthias, wrasses, angels, blennies, and tangs which are fine.

A water change always perks up my fish. Put it like this, if you’ve been medicated for a period of time doesn’t it tire you? I sometimes think with fish we fail to realize that all the meds that we use don’t just have positive side effects. Just like the pharmaceutical drugs people take, the benefits are always accompanied with side effects. I’m not pointing a finger at you. I suppose I could have just said water changes seem to perk fish up. At least that’s my experience.

I did a 40G water change on the 220G and also ran carbon after 2 days of dosing the Prazi. 3 fish out of 27 are acting strange. I have read up the side affects could be lack of appetite or lethargy.

Odds are in your favor. I think we’d both agree that if you or I don’t eat for a few days we’re going to be lethargic. We usually treat fish as being equal but they aren’t. The three that are taking a little longer may just take a little longer to come back to being themselves. It’s tough when your patients can’t speak. We are left with diagnosing primarily off things we can visually see. Clearly you’re doing something right if the other 27 are back to being themselves. Job well done!

I am just seeing if there is anything I could be missing or need to address before something happens. I am planning another water change Friday and will add fresh carbon. I've dosed Prazi in a reef before but never saw any side effects.

I think you’ve done enough. Sometimes it’s difficult to know when enough is too much. You’ve put a lot of effort into this and I think the three that are a little slow will make that turn. If you’re really worried I suppose you could pull them and put them through another round of whatever you deem necessary.

They are starting to swim around more and feed again. Prazipro must have stunned them. I had never seen that reaction withPrazi before.
