I always check out your posts since you take nice clear pics and you have great corals. I noticed the colored plugs and I was thinking how the heck did he get those? Then I remembered I gave Bill some to share. Glad you put them to good use. I will be making an announcement about colored plugs in my forum soon. I found two color combinations I really like. The first full batch is a softer purple grey. The ones you got are close to it but quieter. I think every batch will vary a little bit. I blend three different colors to get the look I like. Yours were a four color blend. The color I took out was over $40 a pint. I now use that as a highlight on the big uns and structures. It looks great this way I think. The goal is to enhance the look of the coral and not the plug. I think the softer color is just a bit better and it won't cost as much.

Sweet, adam! I would lpve to see a colony shot the the D day lokani!

Its funny man, I still have not shot this one. I keep wanting to let it grow more before I do but I continue to frag it. Setting me back. This has been going of for a couple years now:cry:

Well Adam, buddy, pal you can just send me a frag and in a few short years Ill get you that colony shot.

Hi Scott

I really hope I didn't thwart and official announcement for releasing these plugs.:sorry: I actually had no idea they weren't available as of yet. I needed plugs and Bill just handed me a big old bag of them:).

They look amazing man. I am continually impressed by what comes out of your shop. Some of those larger one piece structures are unbelievable! Truly one of a kind works of art.

No, I have made some for other vendors. Just not retail yet.

I have had a run of bad luck with the bigger structures lately. It is almost like I forgot how to make them.
