In the six previous Stanley Cup Final games between the Red Wings and Penguins at Joe Louis Arena (2008 and 2009), the Red Wings have posted a 5-1 record, have outscored the Penguins 21-6, outshot them 213-159, allowed one goal or fewer five times (including three shutouts) and have led or been tied 89% of the time.

That would be the six PREVIOUS as in last year, as in history, as in no factor in these series.....:tongue:

That is this year and last year. They only played 3 playoff games at the Joe last year and 3 this year. I think it is very relevant.:wink:

I should have just called off today. I'm not getting anything done. Every appt I have been on has been nothing but talk about the game tonight and nothing work related. Not that that's is a bad thing...:xd:

It's kind of funny, in Detroit we usually laugh off the regular season. There is never a doubt that the Wings will make the playoffs. Bot am I glad that the Wings are consistently good now. Home ice in a game 7. It doesn't get any better.:bigsmile:
