Let's Make a List of Slow Growers

I was just thinking, that when people don't know they are taking on a slow grower and buy one, it can be a big let down. I think it would be nice to have a list of slow growers. That way, people either know what to avoid, know which ones they want to take on as a challenge, or at least have a little FYI. :wink:

Post them here and maybe if we get enough on the list it can be used as a little article or something.

For example.

I think slow growers depends on a persons tank.

I got some magicians from Sexy Corals and they grew as fast if not faster than other weed type palys in my tank.

My slow grower is SC Pink Fame, but M and M said in one of his threads that it grows pretty fast compaired to other chalices for him.

Utter Chaos seem to grow fast for me under leds.
However, SPS seems to grow slowly under the leds with the exception of red planet.

I'd have to say small frags... smaller frags seem to be more stressed in the process which cause them to grow slower than say something 2 to 3 times larger. This can be the case with almost any coral.

Specific ones I'd say Oregon Tort has been the slowest growth for me.

There's an article in coral magazine about that. I think less than 1/2 inch suffers slower growth and lower survival chances
