The subject of our quiz this evening is the small pink and white object. This just showed up on the bottom of one of my rocks. Nothing new has been added in 3 months and it was not on the rock when I put it in. let the fun begin.........

No mushrooms in this tank as far as I know. I think you may be right about the ball anemone I just wonder how these things transport in through the air, LOL, thanks

It could have hitched a ride on anything you put in the tank. Also, when retracted, they are almost unseen without a magnifying glass.
I have a couple in all my tanks and they have not hurt a thing.

Definitely a ball anemone. They popped up in my tank a couple months in too. They don’t seem to care too much about light so maybe there was one inside your rocks where you couldn’t see?
I kinda like them though. They don’t bother anything and are not as prolific as aiptasias.
