got these in on a shipment yesterday - doing the worm unit in biology starting today, so I would like a positive ID if anyone knows.

Anybody know what these are for sure?

I agree with Luciano, definitely fireworms. They hurt like heck and definitely feel like fire when they get ya. lol

Actually it didn't really hurt that bad, but its sure tingly and swelling this morning!

Anybody know how reef safe they are (besides the fact that they sting)? Currently residing in the sump.

Hhhhmmm Shimek says they are predatory on SPS, guess they are staying in the sump then.

You can use vinegar to dissolve the spines I in your finger. I don't remember where I read it or had to test it.
