Lets see some DIY finished stands

Photos from my 210 build. Stand is 90" long and 47" high. Our floors seem to breath depending on the season so I added some leaving casters for peace of mind.

Nice. How wide is that center opening in the front? And did you use 2x8 or 2x6 for that 90" span?

Still some trim and a door (floating shiplap) to finish, but this is my 20 cube AIO

Power strip to be installed in the bracket on the lower left. InkBird in the back right.

Center opening is 30" and used 2x6 on both the top and bottom span. Used an Ikea countertop with liquid epoxy. With the tank being 7' long I was concerned about it being level.

Thanks!
Unfortunately, I got this tank and stand second hand, so there's no build process. It's a very simple design though. Was going to explain how it was built, but came across this picture which is almost the same design the previous owner used:

I believe in my case the tank rests on a plywood sheet on top of those green (and center blue) beams. The entire outside of the stand was made with scaffolding board (unsure if that's what it's called).

The current look was a bit of an experiment actually. Originally, the wood was painted a sort of bluish gray (you can still see it on the bottom beam), which I very coarsely sanded leaving a mixture of gray stains and the original beige sort of color of the wood. I then gave it a thick coating of oak varnish and very finely sanded that as well.

Both the electrical box and ATO cover got the same treatment, except for the missing gray paint. Eventually I spray painted all the hinges and nobs black instead of the aluminium look they had to better match my living room.

And you're right, that Maranta is fake :p I wish mine used to look as good (before my cat demolished them)! 20210106_194248.jpg 20210106_194242.jpg 20210106_194233.jpg
I like the sound deadening in it! Thought about doing something similar. Is it pretty stealth now?

It’s faux coral stone, haha.
I wanted total access to the sump, so the 4 doors come completely off. Currently, doors held by Velcro, it’s working, but magnets will hold doors in the future. EC392733-B78A-462D-B009-55238659BF94.jpeg

Not at all actually haha. This stand has lots of cracks and holes and whatnot, so it doesn't do much. There's a very obvious noise increase with the doors open though, but it's not as quiet as I'd like it to be.

For me it doesn't block humming noises at all, I feel like it might actually worsens it. It does greatly reduce splashing noise though.

I like it, but no way my wife lets me put that in her house. I had to use granite and oak.

We are planning to buy a house this year and I think I’ll build a another stand to match the house. This one was built on the fly so I could get my tanks swapped. My boyfriend doesn’t mind! So I was good to go!

36" tall with construction grade douglas fir for my 40 breeder, finished by running a torch over it to scorch the wood, sanded, two coats of boiled linseed oil, then two coats of satin oil based polyurethane-

I made it to double as a bookshelf and storage for the cramped living area it used to be in, I also had a second shelf for the lower portion that I ended up adding back in recently.
