You are correct, they are actinic supplementation. I actually left some room in there to add another row of LEDs along the side, in case I want more blue.

Here is my stand and floating canopy. I used wood from a pin oak felled on my parents farm for the parts that are natural/stained. The painted material is just cabinet-grade plywood.
It was built initially to house a Lumenmax Elite reflector and a 24" T5 in front and back for actinics, but was easily converted to hold 2 AI Sols.

Is there an AZ Forum here on R2R? I've been on the one on RC... but I've pretty much given up on RC as it it is sooo bogged down. I really want to meet up with some locals...this is kind of a introverted hobby and I'm looking for some other introverts to hang with

The main light is 250 watts in a Lumenbright reflector. I'm planning a SPS dominated tank (with acans on the bottom if I can keep the water "dirty enough").

The sump cabinet? That's my canopy! I am sumpless - That white pole is holding up my HQI Halide pendant (250w). The thingamabob next to it is the feeder.
The canopy is huge, and a mighty pain in the rear to take on and off (It has no doors to keep with the smooth look). I love the room inside of it, but maintenance is definitely a challenge. :lol:

Do you have plans for this or mind sharing more detail pics. I want something exactly like this for my LEDs and possibly addition t5s. But my tank is also four feet long. Any tips would help.

I'll post more detail pictures this weekend. I'm taking it down so I can run the power cord for the lights down the wall.
