Lets See some DIY Tank Stands

Very basic stand using 4 x 4 and 2 x 4 and painted white. My wife wanted an open look and I wanted the plumbing through the wall into the laundry room, we both won.

I made mine stand at 40" high, this's right at my view when I stand up. Three side with doors for easier to maintenance.

Very nice stand! Love the tank too! What kind of tank is that? Looks nice!
 
Is this enough room? :) This is a 4 foot 120 gallon with a 9 foot wide stand

Test fitting the sump and equipment:



Painted the inside with Kilz primer (don't silicone the seams till after you have painted!):



Adding trim:




Painted the exterior and tank on stand (bad choice in using oil based paint):

And lastly, here's the stand I built for my JBJ nano frag tank.

Here is my stand i started today for my 125RR tank hope to install this weekend

2x6 top frame
2x4 legs with 2x6 covering front legs
2x4 bottom frame
36" opening in front for easy access
36" tall
And skinned with old barn wood.
Just need to add finish
