Part of what I love about the hobby...let's see these weirdos in action.

My Bird Wrasse isn't dead, he made himself a blanket out of the substrate. :zany-face:

Isn’t that fairly normal behavior for wrasses? And I once caught my YWG lying in my rhodactis mushroom.

Something about Bird Wrasse is extremely goofy to me. The fact that it burried itself halfway and slept was a onetime thing I hadn't seen before.

But yes, all my Wrasse bury themselves but the way a Dragon Wrasse goes about it is much more engineered/coordinated hah.

I think they are goofy looking in a good way from the start. To see it just chilling half way out like that is funny, and makes me want to get one. They come through my LFS a lot but just too big of a fish for my 75g

I’m always intrigued by the oddball fish. This big weirdo definitely needs at least 6 feet to move around at this size and it just continues to grow. Cool fish even tho it decimated my CUC.
