Hey folks
Been in this hobby for a while and have had many different tanks with different filtration methods.
This one was obviously thrown together quickly without much thought (never meant to be a long term tank), it is filthy and the skimmer and reactors run in the same chamber as the fuge
! This fuge/sump has worked out outstanding for the tank that sits above it, Bubble tips from the main tank even started showing up down there!
I just finished setting up a new tank and designed a brand new sump and am excited as it's much more organized than this one, but I am curious of others who run similar "messy" Sumps, and I want to see your results!
This one is particular has worked outstanding for me, all the filtration you see is all the filtration the tank has, its a predator tank (only 75 gallons) and nitrates and phosphates are both kept at very reasonable levels!
