I added 2xT5HO to my 24" reefbreeders just about 3 weeks ago, couldn't be happier 
please ignore the uglyness in my tank, it was a busy year last year and my tank is in recovery mode.

ATI Coral+, they're far enough apart I can't run different bulbs without it being very noticeable. Ideally I'd like 4 T5's, or maybe mostly T5 with some RB LED's as supplement.
The fixtures are strip lights meant for growing plants, I've been told they don't have the best ballasts (instant start), but I can change them down the road if I have problems or if I get bored, I have 2 spares sitting around from my old t5 fixture (they'll run 2 bulbs each). They do have pretty good reflectors, they're plastic but they've got a high polish chrome finish on the inside.

I'm using ATI Coral+, my reason for adding t5's is that I think there is something missing, so I wanted to add a "white" t5 to help cover anything that may be missing. plenty of actinic action from the leds imo.

Razor with 4x24w T5. Haven't tried it with the T5's yet.So you have to settle for pics of the fixture. Oh, and it's going over a new tank, so don't mind the size compared to my current tank.

I strongly prefer having T5 in the middle, since it has nice broad lighting properties. Lighting with LED from front and back helps with even lighting of the coral, something folks dislike with LED.
Ghill762 did u notice much change in growth with the t5 addition? Or coraline growth ? I have 2 reefbreeders and am a week or so away from adding 2 t5HO . I am having trouble getting my RB adjusted at the moment just not getting the color and growth Id like and minimal coraline growth . I am hopeing 2 t5ho will be the game changer

So this is something i am very much interested in. I currently have a 90g mix reef running with 2 Maxspect razor 120W LED. I am currently in the process of upgrading to a 180g tank. I will get a 3rd razor but I am also looking to supplement the 3 razors with some T5HO light. I thinking about one 4ft tube or perhaps 2 2ft tubes on the back of the tank. Any suggestions/recommendations for me?

It's hard to say. I've noticed an increase in growth and color but I can't attribute that all to the addition of t5. My tank was in rough condition and I've been getting it back in shape over the past two months. That said,I do expect better results,I ran solely t5 prior to led and haven't seen the same deep colors since. And reefbreeders is my second led fixture so it's not reefbreeders, I think there's something missing in led.

With this combo I have all the adjustability n efficiency of standalone leds. I can control how white or blue I like with the leds thorough the day. The growth n color of my sps is very good. The pics look more blue than it is in real life. I took these pics with a note 3. The tank runs cool without a chiller or fan even in the summer. I have to use the heater ik the winter to keep the temp up.
I had the GHL mitras over my tank before this. Those r great lights but I like this combo of lights better. I still have the Mitras for sale if any interested.
