DiYwR chez moi. Part of the fun of the sump is designing and making it - I would never 'outsource' that. Plus I know far better than anyone else what I want. Better ways to waste my money in this hobby.

Bashsea makes an amazing sump. This is the first one I have owned. I wanted a sump that was designed really well along with the looks. Bashsea has so many bells and whistles I have loved every day I am behind my tank working in this sump. I've owned many trigger sumps in the past that I was also very happy with but nothing has compared to the Bashsea sump I have now. Every little detail was thought of and its super sleek.

And I though I maximized the space in the stand. You sir, took it to a whole other level. (Literally... 2 levels... ;-)

Lol not much room left mine. Honestly I love it, some question the tightness of everything for maintaining things. But it takes less than a minute to twist off unions and slide the whole sump out, which I only do once every 6 months to clean the pumps and tidy things up. Dosed peroxide which killed off almost all my cheato ;Shifty which has left the fuge to all types of other unrulely algae but it's making it's come back slowly but surely:)

Love your setup as well, Jeff does some awesome work and still manages to make it look not quite like a mass produced sump.

Awesome guys! Too many to quote now, I love the different setups we all have. Feel free to add tips and tricks you've all learned along the way with what works and what doesn't. Some really really amazing sumps here. Lets make this a repository of sump knowledge for all to read and learn from!

Okay this is a pretty crappy stitching attempt, but I only have about 2' of room in front of the tank currently and can't get the 4' span of the sump on this phone camera.

Still have to do some work with the cabling but procrastination is a thing. Here is the plumbing in a full shot before the tank was filled.

I’m still working on my sump pit. Here are some pictures of the sump during construction and just recently when I painted the rubber membrane on it. I built a house on a slab and had the builder and foundation guy build me a 4’ long, 4’ deep by 32” wide concrete pit. The hoses from 2 tanks run to the pit.
