Let's see some pics of these wild holy grail torches we see popping up all over! I hear they color up more the longer they are in a tank. Prove it!

Oh... I don’t have any of those yet lol. Do they cost a lot and are they easy to keep. And sorry for hijacking the thread.
Oh definitely, they usually go for $1K. They are euphyllia corals, so they are not very difficult to keep, but the water parameters should be stable.

Also, I’m sorry about hijacking this thread lol!

Wild hg I got about two months ago. First pic was taken about a day after it went into the system and second was after about six weeks. It’s much more vibrant now and gold/yellow is also much more noticeable

Here’s another one. This is much more vibrant than the previous one posted. Two pics were taken about a month or so apart with first pic taken immediately after going in

Where is it placed in your tank and what lights do you use. Trying to figure out whether to kill it with light or if it likes lower light to get better colors

Lights are radion xr30 gen4 pro running at 60 percent AB+ setting. Torches are in the middle part of tank getting about 225-250 par. Generally speaking hg torches get more yellow with higher par.

Do you have a wild HG or are you thinking about getting one?
I just purchased one which should be coming to me tomorrow. Unfortunately I think I put my dragon soul too close to the light and it bleached a bit. Recovering now but don't want to make the same mistake

I’m sure you will enjoy it. It did take mine a few weeks before they looked nice and are definitely still getting nicer.
Would love to see you posting pics of it.

No more thoughts or pictures on these wild HGs? I am in the market for one but am debating if I should hold out for a nice aquacultured piece.

Some are really nice. Mine has changed colors a few times already. It has kinda gone back and forth with getting more yellow and more green

Funny, you have the 24k. That is what I am really looking for. Absolutely no comparison. I can't find one of them available now, everyone says maybe in a couple months. I may need to try a wild for the time being.....Thanks for posting this!
