That is a very true to life photo looking at it through the glass. I’d love to see a top down photo of that colony.

Agreed One of a few on this thread that is adjusted to how it looks in real life

It really depends on what lighting/settings the tank is running. If someone runs their tank with a 20k spectrum, that is “real life” to them. The WD, like most “high end” tenuis, looks better under bluer lighting. Top down photos usually show the colors better as well. When I shot my pic above it was early morning ramp up and pretty blue- the photo represents what it looks like under those settings. I’ll try to take one later with all channels at 100% and repost to this thread to show the difference.

The first two pics are from 2 weeks ago (less pe than the other 2, i now have 2 angels in the tank who nip from time to time).
The others pics from last summer/fall.
Good flow, radions g4 pro at 70% on rapid growth preset (i think).

As promised, here it is at full spectrum. I run Orphek v4 lighting so what that means in my tank is channels 1 and 4 at 75% and 2 and 3 at 100%. The tank looks very white to my eyes. The turbo snail decided to make the polyps retract right in time for the photo :) I don’t use Lightroom, just I-photo on my Mac and the ONLY sliders used are exposure and sharpness.

Yep, that seem legit coloration. Nice piece!

To green ,mean .....need more or better light.
Add some iodine help also (help to got more red )

Chris at Obscura gave my piece in November after a big order. Here it is when I got it, yesterday under halides, and yesterday under just LEDs. This is the darker side but easiest to photo.... i did prematurely frag early on so it lost a nub. No filter just polyplab lens on LED.
