Our daughter was in the NICU for a week and every time they fired these up, I said "fish tank" to my wife.

I never did get a chance to ask them about the lights.

Both of my kids spent time in NICI (premature). They used the lights on one of them when he showed signs of jaundice (sp?). A day or two of the light would clear it up. I am not sure how it worked. This was a number of years ago, so the light therapy may be used for other conditions as well.

Lol great thread. Here is my blue glow. Doesn't look that bright, but my neighbors have already complained two times to HOA that it's too bright and "floods" into their home.
