New reefer here and I am just wondering what you guys use to travel to, from and within the frag swaps. Meaning do you just use insulated coolers or what and if its something not that simple, I would love to see it. Also, for temp regulation, heat packs and ice pack or is there something more out there?

I have a little frag swap cooler. It's small, I couldn't fit a 6 pack in it. No hot or cold packs, just put them in there. Been doing that for 10+ years and never lost one.

Does this method work for you overnight? Just curious for the swaps that last a couple of days or that include traveling.

We take a cooler on wheels and a styro to keep in the car for when the cooler gets full. An orphek azurlite is useful for looking at corals that hobbyists bring that don’t have light set up also. Cash is king at swaps as not all vendors accept cards, or the location may not have WiFi. Bring more cash then you think you will need lol.
