Lets see your frag tanks!

As the title says, lets see your frag tanks! Please also provide a bit of info, Is the frag tank plumbed into the main setup or separate? Do you use the same lights? Same flow? Same apex or separate monitoring?

I do not have a frag tank currently, however I am considering setting up a small system like the lagoon 25 to propagate anemones or zoas.

Not plumbed into the main display, different lighting as well. I do not have a controller on my tanks, but I need one...





FWIW I would not recommend plumbing an anemone prop system into the main display.

Interesting to see you have a sandbed in the frag tank! I Figured most would run bare bottom as to crank up the flow and keep build up to a minimum! Thanks!! Yours almost looks more like a second display

I added the sand because I like to keep fish and critters that like or require a sandbed and since this is a softy frag tank, huge amounts of flow wasn't necessary.

Right now its just cycling im pretty sure the cycle finished today its separate from the main system and I kept it very simple. 6 feet long by 3 feet wide and 12” tall. Not the same lights running T5/Led/halide hybrid. Much more flow as well. No special controllers or gadgets hope to get coral in soon!

Bump! Right now I am considering an IM fusion lagoon for the frag tank! I like the over all footprint and 24" is easy to light
