I'll be going 50/50 B+ and C+ on my 8 bulb Sunpower. I was wondering if you could share anymore pictures, perhaps FTS as well. Also, I'm assuming the overall color in your pics is more whitish with a hint of blue? From the sound of it it seems like the spectrum is about 14k?

I think they call the Coral+ bulb a 14k bulb, so what the heck the Blue+ combo you'll get that slight tinge of blue to take it a bit higher. I overdrive my bulbs so the overall look is whiter than what the Sunpower wlll put out.

I was wondering that too about he comparison.
I've read to much positive comments and seen enough good results with ATI bulbs, so that was a no brainer to me.
Still hope some one chime in who have used or seen both T5 in action.

Moved from a 40 breeder with a 4 bulb to a 120 with a 6 bulb + TrueLumen 50/50 strip for sunrise/sunset. Old bulb combo was

B+
P+
AB Special
B+

New combo is this, I think...

B+
B+
C+
P+
C+
B+

My goal here is to avoid the magenta swing of having the P+ next to a B+. The lights will be full on/full off so I shouldn't see it too bad but I think burying the P+ between two C+ will avoid it entirely.

I like the bright white look with a bit of purple. Somewhere around the 12-14k range. Any input here is welcome. Moving from the AB special to the C+ bulbs should make up for the fact that I'm only adding one blue.

I run 5 blue plus 2 coral plus and an aqua blue special. I like the look nice and bright. I used to run 5 blue and 3 coral plus bulbs. But I like this look better. I think you should dump the purple bulb and add another coral plus or aqua blue special. I get good color and growth with this combo.

I'm going to be trying some the new geiseman t5 bulbs out on my 105 (pic posted previously in the thread) when they come out. I'm curious to see par measurements with these new bulbs vs my current tried and tested ATI bulbs. I'm intrigued by the aqua blue Azure, the description sounds like it's a great color..

Anybody have any of the new spectrums they just came out with? I wouldn't think they just renamed the old ones right?

Current line up Is 6x blue + and 2x coral +.. I've been looking on adding some other bulbs so we shall see.

I have a 180 mixed reef and I have an ATI 8 bulb fixture....I have a question about my bulb combo..right now I have:

5 blue +
1 aqua blue special
1 coral +
1 purple +

I really like the look, but I am trying to get the color a little bit deeper of a blue look.....Any advice?? I thought about adding an actinic but I know the par is a lot lower in that bulb and I didn't know what to add and what bulb to take out!!

I was run in the same lineup but then I switched my blue special for a Geiseman pure actinic... Looks better to me
