Yours! It reminds me of a friend's tank who ran t5s and had dense colonies. I've run t5 only but not that successfully. I had good growth just not great color. I was likely doing something wrong with my additives/water...

He's a neighbor, was on a local forum, brokedown a few years ago.

He'd actually built an led canopy when he sold his system. Just wanted to reduce bulb cost and energy use.

T5 sure is the way to go.

Especially for SPS.

Wish more people would realize that.

I have Never had any Luck with LED and SPS.

And it seems most everything (with a few exceptions) does better under T5 than LED.

I have 3 T5 Tanks and 3 LED Tanks.

Tank Number 7 will be T5

Great Thanks... I am using 3B+, 2C+ and P+. Maybe similar as the C+ has a % of everyone. Actually i like the P+ because it gives the Red and Greens a real color.

How does this combination look for an 8x24 for sps?

3 - ATI Blue +
3 - ATI Coral +
1 - ATI Purple +
1 - ATI True Actinic 03

Or should I just go with:

4 - ATI Blue +
4 - ATI Coral +
