It's medical grade equipment used for micro dosing medicine. I would say overkill in almost every scenario except carbon dosing, especially in smaller setups. I have a nano tank and wouldn't use any other automated method to dose additives besides two part. So yeah, depending on application, entirely worth it.

Does anyone use a dosing pump to dose their vodka into the sump..

I was thinking that if it’s not in a sealed container (ie dosing containers with a loose lid ) then the alcohol will just evapourate.??

Does it require an air intake valve to be able to remove the vacuum?
