Where are these corals hiding? I have looked far and wide and can not find anyone with a frag. I offered up a nice, healed, colored up frag of the Rainbow Crush and no takers. I had a large colony of the BPC Flamethrower a couple of years ago. I sold many frags from it. Unfortunately I had to leave the hobby for a while and the new owner lost it in a tank crash. Just wondering if they are rare. FYI below is my old colony. :(

Very difficult to come by.... I was looking for years till I saw that Mike at Sexy Corals had a couple of frags for sale. I ran up there the same day to it pick it. Everyone I asked either wasn't selling or it had died on them.....

Good luck finding a BPC Flamethrower.

Mike at Sexy Corals has a new BPC Bahama Flamethrower that looks sick.

BPC flamethrower is a unique chalice. It's a very slow grower, decently picky on tank placement and it will die on you with little warning.

With that being said, I have a 6+ eye colony that I have almost lost 2x for unknown reasons. Everyone else that I know in my area and most people that I have talked to have lost their colony's including my LFS.

I had an relatively ginormous OG BPC flamethrower that I grew from a small frag. Unfortunately one day,it decided to start bleaching and didn't stop until it died :(

R.I.P.

Btw, it's been my experience it doesn't do well long term in an SPS environment.

Im thinking about keeping an eye and selling my bpc. So check the livestock thread in a week or so. Maybe there will be one under your tree.
