What t5 bulbs and kessil color settings (approximately) are you using?

What t5 bulbs and kessil color settings (approximately) are you using?

T5s are blue+ and coral+

They are on the very back of the tank to light a frag rack that I keep sps on so very little of the t5 light hits my acans. My kessil is on a spectral controller set to ramp up to 75% power and 15% color.

sorry im late to the party ill post a recentish picture of the single head acan. I now has about a dozen heads lol sitll holding its colors looking nicer than ever.

Any updates from anyone. Great thread. I’m having a hard time keeping the green colors in my rainbow acans under Kessil blue. Considering a LED T5 Combo from Reefbrite.

Lots of feedings and weekly 5g water changes!

You must have full spectrum light to maintain their color. I have kessils (old ones) on a frag tank with a t5 supplement.

So far, so good. My LFS told me I needed a t5 to maintain the color (or rations which I don't have on the frag tank.

I call BS on T5 and acan color debate. I have had these under KessIL 360. I target feed them lps pellets

I have led
All my rainbow acan’s lost their rainbow colours and turned in to their prominent colour.
However as with most my other LPS, that parts in indirect light are still nice and bright
So, it’s imo too bright a light & wrong led spectrum which needs adjusting

BINGO @Richie Lloyd i completely agree if the light is to intense It will definitely morph them also I run my lights 90% of the day "blue"
